Sunny and calm private bedroom in shared 2-bd 1-ba apartment. The building is newly gut renovated and extremely clean. Minimal apartment with ample storage on the fifth floor (walk-up).

Lease begins December 1 but current sublet would like to stay until mid-December, therefore I'm looking for someone that can sign the lease for December 1, and be willing to move in on December 20ish or January 1. Building management needs to have the signed lease arranged by early-mid October.

I'm looking for a roommate who is quiet, very clean, respectful and communicative. I work in the office four days out of the week and wake up and go to bed quite early, therefore, it is imperative that my future roommate can agree to ensure a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

- sliding glass door (not pictured in photos) doesn't provide the best sound-proof from inside the apartment, but no one has complained in the past. There's a double-panned soundproof window so no noise from street.
- The room is around 100 square-foot—not huge but comfortable for one with just enough space for yoga.

Shared bathroom:
- great shower pressure, soft water, with bathtub

- smoking inside the apartment
- use of toxic cleaning supplies—I prefer to use non-toxic and plant-based products all throughout the apartment
- conflict-avoidant roommate
- messy roommate or someone who frequently leaves dishes or the common spaces untidy

The apartment is on the top floor so it's above the surrounding buildings and provides views of our tree-lined street in a beautiful neighborhood. Fort Greene Park is just a few blocks away that features a Saturday morning farmer's market.

I work at a museum in Manhattan and am very quiet and clean, respectful, and communicative, and am looking for a roommate who is the same. I consider my apartment a refuge from my quite busy life in New York, and appreciate a calm and relaxing atmosphere inside the home. I love to exercise, and am out every morning doing some form of a workout. I cook most days and go to bed very early (9:30PM) and wake up very early (5/5:30AM).
