Responsibilities:
The shop associate will work in The CW Rugery – one shop in our family of three stores. This shop features vintage and contemporary rugs, home décor including pillows and throws, fine art, and vintage chandeliers. The right candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys a dynamic, customer-oriented, retail environment.
- Maintain high level and consistent customer experience that matches the price point of the merchandise
- Execute daily operations of the store, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Ongoing development and follow-through with sales leads
- Provide exceptional customer service in-person, on telephone, and via email and text
- Assist in managing inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Communicate with vendors for restocking needs and custom orders
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales growth weekly and monthly
- Communicate daily with management team to inform operations
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
-Must be able to lift up to 30lb
Experience:
- Previous experience retail experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with POS systems and other retail software applications
$20 (Based on experience) + Commission
