Community Studio in Koreatown
Event Space
March April is a community studio in Koreatown, at the intersection of 7th and Vermont. We're now accepting reservations to rent our space for events, meetings, workshops, and more!
We can reserve the entire studio for birthday parties, special screenings, photo shoots, team meetings, workshops, etc. Our space is small but mighty, stocked with everything you need to host a beautiful, creative, and intimate event. We can fit up to 15 people comfortably.
Our office amenities include:
- Fast Wifi (fiber!)
- Kitchenette (including espresso machine, microwave, hot plate, fridge, water boiler)
- Spacious, modular tables
- Color printer and scanner
- Desktop
- Sound dampened office
- Lounge area
- Speaker system
- Projector
- AC, heater
- Sink
- Small dishwasher
Our studio equipment includes:
- Full Adobe Suite!
- Basic drawing and painting supplies
- Sewing machine, accessories, thread
- Coming soon: loom, photo equipment, bookmaking supplies
Accessibility info:
- We are on the second floor of a plaza populated primarily by restaurants. We can arrange for access to the elevator. All of our furniture is modular and we are more than happy to rearrange the space to make it accessible for you and your event.
Parking info:
- Our shopping plaza has $3 valet parking. There are several public parking plazas nearby as well as plentiful street parking (though the street spots go fast at meal times and weekends). Email us for more detailed info.
About This Lister
Hi! I'm Somi, the owner of March April Studio and the current tenant of this address. I use they/them pronouns. I'm a writer, LA native, and accidental small business owner. Please let me know your questions :)

Rental requirements
Rental rates:
- $45/hour for 1-8 guests
- $65/hour for 8-15 guests
- 2 hour minimum
- $40-75 cleanup fee (email us your event details for an exact quote!)
Day rates:
- $25/day for a single entry (includes unlimited drinks and snacks + access to basic studio supplies)
- $20/day for 2+ entries (includes the above. Great for a hangout or date!)
Monthly membership:
- $250/month for unlimited day passes (sliding scale options available on our website! Great for creatives, students, and coffee shop regulars)
If you're interested in renting out the whole space, please email us with your event details. Include what amenities and equipment you would like as well as an estimated head count. Please also describe, in 1-2 sentences, your event.
Once we confirm availability, we will send you an event agreement and liability waiver. Upon signing the agreement, we ask for a 50% deposit to lock in your reservation.
