Hello!!
We are couple of SF natives subletting our furnished bedroom within a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in the Mission from December 3-19 (plus or minus one day on either end is fine!). It’s a lovely corner unit with a balcony and the most spacious floor plan in the building, with access to a fitness center, conference rooms, courtyard, clubhouse, and secure bike room. The living room is hardwood and gets sun all day long so it's always 70-75 degrees without heating! Our kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking needs. You'd be sharing the apartment with a kind, respectful physical therapist from Oregon who is on a travel assignment and not home during the day.
Our bedroom has a king-sized Purple mattress and attached bathroom with shower over bathtub. We keep it squeaky clean! To cover rent is 800/week, if you're staying longer than a week (the minimum stay) we'll discount to 700/week and prorate the days. We’ll take care of utilities if you can water our plants :)
2 minute walk to BART, 8 Muni lines, Valencia St with lots of fun local businesses and eats, and a 10 minute walk to Dolores Park which is our favorite place for an impromptu picnic or watching the sunset. Garage parking can be added for $250 (free EV charging) if your car is the size of a Prius or smaller as we have a garage stacker space.
We grew up here and have lived all over the city, and this is the first place that really feels like home to us thanks to the wonderful community that has persevered through many ups and downs of SF. We have lots of local recs that we are excited to share with you! I can also get some farmers market goodies for you right before we leave if you give me a list of in season fruits & veggies that you'd like (you can find this by searching: Foodwise seasonality chart SF).
Feel free to check out https://www.vara-sf.com for more property details and please message me with any questions!
I'm an elementary school teacher and petsitter who grew up in the Bay Area and hope to stay here as long as I can! I love reading, cooking, swimming, backpacking, and meditation. I've lived in many different neighborhoods in SF over my lifetime and this home is my favorite because of the walkability, bike friendliness, great neighbors, and local businesses that make it feel like a community rather than just a place to live. I love answering any and all questions about the city: food, history, libraries, farmers markets, questionable politics, you name it. Hope to meet you soon! :)
I'm a local that lives here and loves it!
Valid ID, deposit.
Doggos are welcome with a 100 pet cleaning fee. I'm allergic to cats though so no feline friends, sorry!
