Take over one of our pet-friendly 2 bedroom Catskills lake community bungalows for 3 days up to 2+ months between November 13 and May 31, 2025 (dates flexible)! Both homes offer vintage charm with modern conveniences and minimalist, chic décor inspired by our native Sweden. The bedrooms have desks and fast, reliable internet (200+ Mbps), providing a comfortable work-from-home setup. Both homes stay toasty in the wintertime and we have smart thermostats that you can adjust to your liking, as well as fireplaces (gas and electric). One of the bungalows offers Level 2 EV charging.

In the wintertime and spring, besides cozying up by the fireplace or fire pit – or in the treehouse bungalow's hot tub – we love walks around Smallwood's beautiful Mountain Lake (or across it if it's frozen), a stroll along the hamlet's own waterfall or a hike in the forest reserve, skiing/snowboarding and snow tubing at the local ski resorts, a visit to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, local breweries, galleries, Assembly Art Space, and nearby cute towns like Kauneonga Lake, Jeffersonville, Livingston Manor, Callicoon or Narrowsburg for great dining and shopping. When the weather warms up, a canoe or pedal boat ride on the lake is a must! This area of the Catskills really offers every outdoor activity imaginable including swimming, hiking, canoeing, boating, tubing, rafting, fishing, cycling, ziplining, horseback riding, bird watching, etc. We will share a digital guide with our renters that feature our recommendations on things to do, sights to see, places to eat, and what not to miss.

Smallwood
We love Smallwood - a friendly and quiet lake community with many cute little log cabins from the 1930s and 40s. Most lots are small, about 0.5 acre, so please note that our friendly neighbors' houses are visible from the bungalows. We have a lake, waterfall, forest reserve with hiking trails, outdoor gym, post office, and restaurant in the lake community. To walk around the lake takes about 40 minutes.

*Rent includes trash and snow removal, wifi, and smart TV subscription. Rent does not include electricity and heating, which, depending on if you use the bungalow part or full-time, and how cold/warm of a winter/spring it is, will range between approx. $150-600 per month.
