We (the owners) lived in (and loved!) this cozy home, and outgrew it with our growing family. We now live nearby, but still teach/work in the studio (separate building) out back. The backyard and driveway will be shared.

2 bed/ 1 bath plus an office. The bathroom and office are newly renovated. The front porch has 5 steps up, and there is also a slight incline w/ steps from the driveway to reach the house. The backyard is fenced and there's a playset. There's a wood burning stove in the living room that is VERY cozy. Right now there's a baby gate around it that we can take down if not needed. The house is not furnished. It's about an 8-10 minute drive to the Village of Cold Spring/the train station, and about a 10 minute drive to Fishkill where you'll find grocery, hardware, gym, etc. It's on .7 acres, and backs up to a state park with direct access to a private hiking trail. If you are a creative person looking for a serene woodland setting to get some focused work done... this might be the perfect spot for you. :)

I am a musician and music teacher, as is my husband. (We met teaching music together in Brooklyn, NY!). This home was our starter home and we are so excited to offer it up to rent as it is a very special home and piece of land. We have two young kids, a dog and chickens. One of us will be showing the space along with our agent. We will be the contact person for the tenants, and my husband is our fix-it-person.
