My fully furnished one-bedroom apartment is a hidden gem nestled in a classic brownstone on a beautiful, tree-lined street, just half a block from Prospect Park. Situated on the third floor of a 10-unit building, this apartment offers a clean, comfortable, and bright living space perfect for the autumn season.
The apartment is neat, clean, and hassle-free, providing an ideal space for those planning cozy fall evenings or cooking Thanksgiving meals. The efficient kitchen is equipped with a four-burner electric stove and a compact oven, as well as all the pans and cooking utensils a home chef could need. Additional features include a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and a dining table for four. The living room, with its 13-foot ceilings and three windows, creates an inviting and open atmosphere. There’s also a Peloton available for use—just bring your shoes!
The generously sized bedroom features a full-size bed and closet space. While there is no in-unit washer and dryer, convenient coin-operated laundry facilities are available in the building. Radiator heat is provided and cannot be controlled within the apartment, but all the windows are fully functional for added comfort if it gets too warm. The space is perfect for remote work, offering a quiet and focused environment. The neighbors are courteous, quiet, and respectful. Please note that pets are not allowed, and nonsmokers are preferred (no smoking inside).
Street parking is manageable, with spaces often found within a few blocks. The apartment is well-connected to public transportation, including the 2/3 at Grand Army Plaza, the Q at Flatbush, the R at Union Street, and the F/G at 7th Ave/9th Street. Park Slope is especially charming in the fall, making it a wonderful neighborhood to explore.

I have been a resident of this neighborhood for almost a decade. As a communications and operations professional with the flexibility to work from anywhere. I work for an organization that empowers progressive technology groups and movement organizations to drive change more effectively. To that end, it is time for a break from that work and from the U.S., I need some time abroad to regroup.
I’ve sublet my apartment a few times through the Listings Project before and have kept in touch with those who’ve stayed—many of whom have returned for multiple stays.
My departure and return dates are flexible, so move-in and move-out dates can be adjusted within a few days on either end.
