Seeking a roommate for our quiet Ridgewood home!
This is a 4 bedroom apartment, currently occupied by myself and another tenant. I currently rent 2 rooms, using one room as a bedroom and the other as a painting studio. The other tenant is a very sweet and quiet graduate student in his mid-twenties. We are both out for most of the day.
The apartment is very quiet, and is owned by a couple who live on the ground floor. I've lived in this apartment for nearly 5 years and they've always been very quick to respond to any concerns or needs for repairs.
The available bedroom gets nice sunlight in the late morning and afternoons. There is a niche that fits a full-sized bed perfectly (pictured above) and space for a desk and/or clothing rack.
The room will be unfurnished and has two shelves that are great for storing books, clothing, or plants.
My roommate and I are both very quiet and clean people and we're seeking a roommate who is respectful and tidy as well!
The rent is $1000/month plus utilities, which are typically around $75 a month.
No pets please, as per the landlords' request!
The rent is month-to-month, but we prefer a long-term tenant.
The apartment is located 3 blocks from the M and L trains, as well as the B52, B54, and B13 buses. It's also 1 block away from a large grocery store, and about a 5 minute walk to two really nice laundromats that are very special to me. Not too far from Honeymoon, Milo's Yard, TV Eye, Gottscheer Hall, and all the other Ridgewood hits.

I'm an artist in my late twenties, and I work full-time as an electrician/assembler. I currently rent two of the bedrooms in the apartment, using one of them as a painting studio.
I'm out of the apartment most days, and spend most weeknights in my studio. Besides painting, I like to listen to old folk records, build electronics, and read.
I like keeping the space clean but I won't be mean to you if you forget to do your dishes.
