Hi!
I'm traveling for the holidays, and subletting my cozy + sunny studio in Prospect Heights from 12/1-1/31. Only looking for someone who can commit to all of December and all of January!
The apartment is on the second floor of a brownstone building in Prospect Heights, right on the Crown Heights border. Very quiet building, only five other units with one tenant each. It’s fully furnished, has a queen-size bed, and utilities (including wifi) are included! Small but mighty kitchen, super cute couch and decorations, small cafe table, big closet. No laundry (but there a laundry mat half a block away!)
The apartment has hardwood floors, high ceilings and gets beautiful natural light (four windows on one wall!). It's on the small size, but in my 18 years of living in New York it’s my favorite place I’ve ever lived in! I simply adore it! Such good energy, great neighborhood, quiet neighbors!
About the neighborhood: Prospect Heights is an adorable neighborhood with some families and young professionals. Lots of tree-lined streets with beautiful historic brownstones. Brooklyn Museum is a four minute walk. Prospect Park Farmers Market is a nine minute walk. Countless dining options, shops, cafe and bars of both Prospect Heights and Crown Heights. The building is extremely quiet with a community of friendly neighbors who love living here and care deeply about the building.
Transportation: The 2,3 train is less than a 5-minute walk. The 4,5 is about an 8 minute walk. The Q and the G are both about 20 minutes.
About You: This apartment could be a great fit for one person (no couples or dogs), keeps their social life primarily outside of the house (great apartment for hosting 1-3 friends for dinner, but not appropriate for parties or any loud social functions), is quiet, clean, responsible, and respectful.
If you're interested, I'd love to chat with you! Feel free to send me an email with a bit about you and we can take it from there.
