My apartment is available for sublet throughout the end of December and January. Dates are flexible, but I’m looking for someone interested in staying for at least two weeks. The apartment is in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, on the bottom/basement level of a charming Victorian home. The family who owns the home and lives on the main floors of the house are lovely-- And I want to ensure that I respect their home by finding someone kind and respectful who will take good care of the space.
The apt. is approximately 1,200 square feet with an open layout and a private entrance with direct access to the backyard. The main living area has a dining table as well as a comfortable couch, record player, and television. Off of the main living area is an office nook/study and hallway to the dressing room, bathroom, and washer/dryer. The bathroom and dressing room can be a bit chilly in the winter, but there is a dedicated internal heater for the bathroom (and the shower is amazing). The bedroom area has a queen bed, and there is a second small couch in the study. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, double induction burner, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, and microwave (the only downside is the absence of a full stove, but I’ve managed perfectly fine without one for over three years).
All utilities are included, and the rent will vary based on the length of stay. Maximum occupancy is two people.
I am a social worker and psychotherapist living and working in NYC and upstate New York.
