RENTAL PERIODS
1) December 19 - December 29/December 30/December 31/January 1
2) January 17-March 30
My partner and I are artists living in the top floor of a brownstone in gorgeous Park Slope, Brooklyn. We're looking for a subletter over Christmas and for a longer period mid-January through end of March.
Our apartment is equidistant to the 9th Street F/G/R and the 7th Ave F/G - a few long blocks to Prospect Park's 9th Street entrance.
It's a loft-style living space, with a semi-private office and private bedroom. The bedroom has a king bed from Tuft + Needle. We have fast internet, two desks, and a monitor for you to WFH. All utilities and a monthly cleaning service are included in the monthly price.
It's a 3-story walk-up, and the building is very old and has a lot of quirks! Please only reach out if you are up for the adventure of brownstone living! Quirks include: a reclusive neighbor below us who has cats, ground floor / stoop level neighbors with small children, big skylights with a couple of leaky spots during heavy storms, etc.
There's a washer and dryer in the unit, which are small and delicate, but work very well!
We're looking to rent to a clean, responsible single or couple. The apartment is not appropriate for more than two people, nor is it child-proofed, nor is it suitable for pets. Smoking in the apartment is prohibited.
Ideally, we're looking for someone to rent for the entirety of the each of the listed dates:
1) December 19 - December 29/December 30/December 31/January 1
2) January 17-March 30
We're artists who travel a lot, and use pet-sitting and home-sharing sites quite often - so we're good at taking care of others' spaces, and would like to find someone like-minded in that way. We really try to take care of our space, leaving it clean and neat, and with plenty of storage/hanging space for your belongings. We'd really like to rent to someone who will appreciate our gem (despite it's quirks), and take care of the space.

A video interview is required so that you can get an accurate idea of the apartment. If we're moving ahead, a sublet agreement must be signed along with a deposit of $400 (to be returned upon evacuation of the apartment), and first month's rent.
