I am renting my quirky East Village studio apartment in the heart of Alphabet City for the month of May.
1 Studio, 1 bathroom, fully furnished, spacious/workable living area. The studio is in a NYC 100-year-old walk-up building (3rd floor, no elevator), full of character and, yes, a few quirks. The floors are slanted from the original build—most of my furniture is leveled with books...quirky, and the fire escape isn't accessible due to safety reasons. Despite its age, the building is calm and quiet, and I want to keep it that way for my neighbors.
It’s a cozy space with a small kitchen (hand-wash only, no dishwasher) and not a party spot. It’s perfect for someone looking to experience NYC without being in the thick of the chaos.
Walking distance to all of East Village's restaurants and bars and a 6 min walk to the subway and 12min walk to Union Square area.
$675 per week, includes exit cleaning and utilities.
Looking for a single, responsible adult person or couple that keeps things neat and tidy and are very respectful of noise and neighbors.
STRICTLY not pets, no smoking, NO parties, no shoes inside walking around the apartment. This studio is NOT equipped for children.
Bond and sublease required.
I'm a fun-loving East Villager who loves Halloween and has called this neighborhood home for over five years. My little studio is my "zen den"—a peaceful retreat that brings me so much joy right in the heart of Alphabet City. I love being close enough to walk to my favorite restaurants, but just far enough away to enjoy a quiet escape from the city buzz.
