About This Lister

Rockella Space was conceived in 2017 out of a personal need for an affordable studio space and a grand dream of building out the perfect, light-filled studio complex. Today, Rockella Space occupies three factory buildings in Brooklyn, offering over 300 creative spaces to the community that all retain an industrial aesthetic, old-world charm, and architectural hints to the history of the previous creative lives they once hosted.

Built in 1930 and with a long history of housing creative industries such as fabric producers for major department stores like Macy’s, One Eyed Studios sits on the culturally artistic border of Bushwick and Ridgewood. Serving a diverse community of traditional crafts and contemporary makers, our Members range in artistic disciplines from World Class Tattoo Artists to Contemporary Visual Artists.
