We're a couple who work in film and design, offering a sublet of our furnished home in the Silver Lake hills beginning March 23 until early May. We have some flexibility on the end date, and looking for someone ideally who would like to stay for 1 month - 6 weeks.

It's a 2 story house on a 2,690 sq ft lot near the top of the hill on one of the historic stairs streets of Silver Lake so there is tons of privacy and incredible views. You will have a parking spot on a gated driveway. The house was built in 1923 so it has lots of character and some quirks. The upstairs has 1 bedroom that we have set up as an office/guest room, which includes a desk and bed that opens up from twin to king-sized, as well as a full bathroom, newly remodeled kitchen with dishwasher and living room w/ vaulted ceilings, and another office nook/sunroom. We have 2 separate workspaces set up, each with an external monitor. Downstairs has our primary bedroom and another full bathroom. There are multiple levels of newly refinished decks outside, and the exterior of the house was just repainted. Walking distance to Silver Lake Reservoir, Whole Foods, Silverlake Wine, and a bunch of other local businesses ranging from coffee shops, bars and restaurants to the library on Glendale Ave.

We're pricing the sublet below normal rate for this neighborhood with the hope of helping someone who has been displaced by the fires, as well as finding someone who will treat it like their own home, water our plants and be easy-going. The price of $3,000 is per month, and includes all utilities and internet. A $200 cost of a cleaning service at move out will be additional. No pets please. There is a flight of stairs between the driveway and house, and the layout of the house isn't ideal for small children. There is a washer and dryer.
