We are renting our beloved 200 year old farmhouse in Germantown, NY for various weeks throughout Spring and Summer. Currently we know it will be available from March 16th - March 31st but feel free to reach out with questions about specific times as there will be availability in April and May and beyond. The house can comfortably sleep up to 5 (two queen beds and one full). One of the rooms has a great office set up with a monitor and laptop stand, and there are a few other places we each like to work throughout the day. This is very much just *our house* and we'd like to share our space during the sweet transition into early spring while we will be out of town. Because it's our home we ask to speak to folks who will be staying to build a bit of trust. The house is about 1,500 square feet plus a back deck with a grill perfect for evening hang and if you're lucky the sounds of our resident Barred owl!

The house sits on 7 acres on a relatively quiet country road 5 minutes from Main St. Germantown, home to Ottos Market and some sweet shops. We're also less than 10 minutes from Tivoli General and the incomparable Fortunes Ice Cream.

We'll be prioritizing folks that are interested in at least a week long stay but are open and somewhat flexible so please reach out with any thoughts or questions! There will also be a $220 cleaning fee regardless of length of stay.

We are a queer couple Mac (they/them) and Eloise (they/she) who have owned the house since August 2021. Eloise is a therapist and Mac is a data analyst.

We split time between Brooklyn, NY and our home in Germantown but are usually there quite a lot in the summer This year we'll be traveling often and are excited to share our space with folks hoping to indulge in all the pleasures of a Hudson Valley summer bliss.
