I want to help people reconnect with or push their creativity to the limit. Whether you're looking to start a new project, breathe life into an existing idea, or simply cultivate a more creative lifestyle, I offer personalized, one-on-one guidance to support you every step of the way.

Hi! I'm Jenita Richards. A writer and multidisciplinary artist with a passion for storytelling, collaboration, and helping others unlock their creative potential.

What I love most about this work is pumping people up to bring their ideas to life. When I’m not coaching or creating, I’m curating workshops through my platform Cabbage House, experimenting with storytelling formats, or diving into big ideas with fellow creatives. My approach is rooted in curiosity, encouragement, and a deep belief that everyone is an artist with something to offer.

Background and Expertise

I fell into this a little by accident and very informally. Over the years, I've been approached by peers and peers of peers who needed a "teammate" for their creative projects—someone to bounce ideas off of, help motivate them, and bring structure to their vision. These moments of collaboration felt natural to me and showed me how much I enjoy supporting others in unlocking their creativity and achieving their goals.

In addition to my own pursuits, my background includes leading various creative workshops, hosting philosophy talks, and facilitating virtual writing groups through my platform, Cabbage House. These experiences taught me how to create a space where people feel inspired, supported, and encouraged to try new things. I’ve also developed a strong understanding of creative processes through my own work as a writer, multidisciplinary artist, and the host of Artists Like Us, a podcast that explores the creative journeys of artists across different disciplines.

My role as a creative coach is rooted in years of helping others bring their ideas to life while balancing structure and flexibility. I’m passionate about providing tools, strategies, and encouragement that allow people to discover what they’re truly capable of. It’s this blend of experience, intuition, and a genuine love for creativity that makes me well-suited to this role.
