The apartment is located in prime Fort Greene, just a few blocks from the park, with many restaurants, bars and coffee shops right on your doorstep. It's on the top floor (3rd floor, no elevator) of a historic brownstone building, get's amazing light, and looks into trees on both the street and the backyard facing side. Even the bathroom gets natural light through a skylight. And in winter, when the trees are bare, you get Empire State Building views from the living room where there is a large dining table and also a work station.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed (Avocado green mattress) with linen sheets and silk pillow covers.
The kitchen is fully equipped for all kinds of cooking adventures. There is no dishwasher - but there is a washer/dryer! :)
Many of my furniture items are vintage, some of which are family heirlooms and mean a lot to me, so I'm looking for someone who appreciates a lovingly furnished home, is clean and knows how to take care of things.
Transportation: G train one block away, C train at an 8 minute walk. 12 minute walk to downtown Brooklyn with a myriad of transport options. Citibike station in front of the building.
I'm an architect and have been living in this apartment for a few years (renting). It's my beloved home and I love sharing it with people - whether it be with friends over dinner or when I used to airbnb the apartment when out of town. It has brought me great joy that people have loved staying at my place. (I have received excellent reviews on airbnb and am a proud Superhost title holder lol)
