*The Dates*: We're looking for someone to sublet the apartment starting October 1 and running through January 31, 2025. Priority will be given to folks who want to sublet the full term, but we're open to shorter stints.

*The Price*: $2,950 monthly. We would also ask $350 monthly to cover utilities (electricity, gas, and internet).

*The Location*: The apartment is the garden unit of a 2-unit house. Accessibility note: it's on the ground floor, but there are 3 steps down to enter the apartment. It's in the South Slope neighborhood, a 10-minute walk to the F/G and N/R subway stops. It's also a 10-minute walk to Prospect Park and a 13-minute walk to Greenwood Cemetery.

*The Specs*: This is an unfurnished one-bed, one-bath apartment. (Photos show a fully furnished apartment, but we will be taking most items).

That being said, we're moving out and would be happy to negotiate a price for the bed and couch that are currently in the apartment.

Otherwise, the apartment has all your favorite appliances (aka a fridge, oven, and dishwasher), along with an in-unit washer/dryer (gasp!).

The Terms: You would be subletting from me (Isabel), but the owners of the apartment would still be vetting anyone who moved into the apartment. At the end of January when the sublet comes to a close, you could discuss setting up a new lease to run a full year if that was of interest to both you and the landlords. At that point, the monthly rent pricing would be up for negotiation.

About This Lister

We are Isabel & William and we've lived in this apartment for the last 2.5 years. We wouldn't be leaving it if we hadn't bought a place! It's been a wonderful home to us, and we're looking for someone quiet, conscientious, and respectful to finish up the end of our lease, which goes through January. We have a wonderful relationship with the landlords, who know about the sublet and would want to screen anyone moving into their home. My partner and I work from home most days and will be available to show the space if interested. There is potential to resign a new lease at the end of January
