We live in a fast-paced, stress-filled world, yet creativity is slower than we have time for.

This retreat is not about word/page counts or industry insights or being productive (I have other services for that).

It is about rejuvenation, self-connection, rest, creative guidance, and direction.

Each morning we will gather for guided creative work. Each afternoon we'll have distraction-free writing time. This retreat also offers nourishing food, optional movement & excursions.

About this Lister

I am an award-winning writer and book coach with an MFA in poetry from NYU and 20 years' experience developing books for a variety of clients, including Jillian Turecki, Zainab Salbi, Kimberly Ann Johnson, Catherine Simone Gray, Eileen Rosette, Ralph de la Rosa, Nataly Kogan and Terri Cole, and many others.

Background and Expertise

I've been a writing fellow at Yaddo, McDowell, VCCA, Banff Center for the Arts, and the CUNY Writer's Institute (among others), and have published poetry, journalism and essays widely, including in The New York Times, NPR, TimeOut NY, Poets & Writers, The Drunken Boat, McSweeney's and many other outlets.
