Bonjour! My name is Sonia, and I’m the owner of a private bilingual preschool (French/English) in Brooklyn. With over a decade of experience in education and curriculum creation, I specialize in teaching French to both children and adults.

As a native French speaker born and raised in Paris, I bring an authentic and engaging approach to language learning. My lessons are carefully tailored to meet your specific goals, ensuring that you feel confident and see real progress without being overwhelmed. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’ll prepare materials that align with your interests and learning style.

In addition to my educational background, I have a deep passion for baking and pastry, inspired by my grandfather, a renowned baker in his region of France. This passion drives my dream to learn professional techniques and bring a slice of France to life through viennoiseries, pâtisseries, and breads.

If you’re an experienced baker willing to mentor me, I’m eager to learn classic recipes like croissants, pain au chocolat, brioche, éclairs, and tarte aux fruits. I’m highly motivated and flexible with my schedule—I’m available afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I’m not afraid to start at 3 a.m to make it happen!. ( I just need to be at school from 8:30 to 3pm on a weekday).
