Seeking a large, unfurnished room in a 2-3BR apartment or a *crosses fingers* one bedroom or studio for myself. Would prefer the room is at the very least around 12x12, a closet is nice, with a couple of windows facing actual sunlight, as opposed to a brick wall ;)

My budget caps around $1500-$1700, assuming that utils are not included.

Happy to live with people, but not seeking a crowded apartment, so living with one other person, two max is preferred.

Can jump on board for 6 months to a year. I am also open to subletting someone's place as well for several months.

I keep my space very clean as well as whatever spaces I am using. Totally down for rotating chores. Sadly am allergic to cats. Dogs are rad!

Would like to live with like minded artists/musicians, creative individuals (see about me). Happy to connect and talk and be friends but I also need to re-charge w/ plenty of alone time.

I'm a 41 yr old cis-male musician (songwriter/composer). After 16 years in Brooklyn I moved upstate in 2021 to Kingston to try something different. It's nice having my own spot up here, but I am really ready to get back into city life again.

I work in the service industry and typically am at work 4 nights a week, though sometimes more. You'll have the place to yourself on a lot of weekends from the afternoon through evening.

In terms of the music, I'm sensitive to disturbing people with my own sound so you won't have to worry about me being some dummy shredding solos at all hours. When ppl aren't home is generally when I make more sounds. And I would also have a practice space outside the apartment.

Other things about me: I like to paint, I love the movies and seeing plays, books, walking all over the city. I like reading/talking about neuroscience, psychology, true crime. I love Richard Pryor. I have a degree in acting (I don't act anymore, but do love it) and I also used to work as an experimental dancer. I don't smoke anything but 420 is fine with me if you do. I drink socially.

I've had both male and female room mates as well as a lovely, long term roommate-ship with a queer POC. I feel like in the Listings Project space it may go without saying, but I am a Liberal/left-leaning fellow (social democrat) and very embracing of all folks and genders.
