About the space:

We're offering one bedroom in a 4 bedroom, 1 bath, 3rd floor walk up in Crown Heights.
The room is approximately 10' by 10', with a 3' by 3.5' closet. It fits a full or queen bed, desk, dresser, with room for shelves.

The apartment is prewar build, well-loved, but in pretty good shape with hardwood floors throughout.
The apartment is spacious, with a light-filled living room and good sized kitchen that's fully stocked with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven/convection oven/air-fryer, espresso machine, and every type of blender (smoothies ftw!).

We have rooftop access to a really lovely space that the landlady has filled with raised beds and seating areas.

The neighborhood is great! We are directly across the street from a great park, and there are lots of fun shops, eateries, and bars in easy walking distance on Nostrand and Franklin Avenues.
There's a laundromat right around the corner.

We foster a warm, relaxed environment where we can all feel comfortable to be, make, cook, and unwind.
We enjoy having people over for dinners, hangouts, and craft-ernooons.
We respect quiet hours.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who is considerate, a direct communicator, willing to invest in taking care of the shared space, and who is tidy, but not uptight about it.
