We’re looking for a full-time barista to join our small team and help bring this vision to life.
About You:
You have barista experience, ideally in specialty tea.
You’re kind, thoughtful, and deeply attentive to detail.
You’re interested in creating a calm, intentional environment for guests.
You’re curious about sound, design, tea culture, or music—but you don’t need to be an expert.
You’re comfortable working solo or in a small team.
You’re NYC-based and available for a full-time schedule, including some weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Be an expert on tea knowledge
- Opening and closing the tea bar
- Preparing and serving a curated selection of teas and snacks
- Managing the flow of the room and guest experience
- Supporting listening events and occasional evening programming
- Light cleaning and resetting of the space throughout the day
Schedule:
- 4–5 days/week, including one weekend day.
- Shifts are typically daytime (8am–6pm) with occasional evenings.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate $18 - $20/hour based on experience.
- Tips shared equally.
- Staff access to events, listening sessions, and more.

Our flagship space in Lower Manhattan is a tea house, listening room, and cultural sanctuary built around the art of intentional listening. By day, we serve a curated menu of teas, small bites, and ambient soundscapes. By night, the space transforms—hosting vinyl DJs, deep listening events, and sonic experiences rooted in design, hospitality, and presence.
