I'm moving out of my lovely 1bd/1bath back house in WeHo at the end of February and am seeking a new tenant to take the space, with the option to purchase the furniture.
Tucked away from the street at the end of a long gravel driveway and courtyard, this is an entire back house, fully furnished 1 bed/1 bath with piano, private laundry room with washer/dryer, and off-street parking. Surrounded by trees and plants, it feels like your own slice of paradise!
The apartment is on the second floor (up one flight of stairs) with private laundry room on the ground level.
The neighborhood is awesome, super central and walkable, equal distance to Santa Monica Blvd, Melrose Ave, and Fairfax Ave.
Everything was purchased brand new less than 2 years ago. You will need to officially apply for the apt through my management company and we will sidebar to settle on the furniture, which includes a queen mattress and bed frame, kitchen pantry, work desk, couch, accent chairs, 55" tv, washer-dryer, rugs, kitchenware, and more. (The piano will not be available.)
If you or someone you know was deeply affected by the fires, my place is move-in ready and I'd love to pass it off to someone in need. The typical lease is 12 months but my landlords are open to shorter (~6 months) if needed.
NEIGHBORHOOD:
Within walking distance includes: Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Melrose Trading Post, Ubatuba Acai, Laurel Hardware, Jon & Vinny's, Canter's Deli, Tu Madre, Employees Only, Bar Lubitsch, Poinsettia Park, Melrose vintage shops. Truly the best of all worlds!
Within driving distance:
5 minutes to the Grove
10 minutes to Runyon
20-25 minutes to Griffith
35-40 minutes to the beach
I'm a composer, writer, and music producer, splitting my time between LA and NYC. This apartment was my home for 2 wonderful years.

Please only inquire if you'd be a qualified applicant and interested in both the apartment and furnishings. I will connect you with my management company if we decide to move forward.
I think pets are generally allowed. You will just have to work it out with the management company. I have a 30 pound hypoallergenic dog and they were fine with it.
