One lovely private bedroom available starting on/around March 1, for a month or longer. Long term possible but sublease agreement would be month to month.

You will share the place with me (busy 50 something artist who travels a lot) and my teen who lives in the house every other week.

You can come home and close the door and work/rest and I/ we won't bother you! Your room is very private and quiet and has room for a small desk/ table.

I prefer someone who does not work from home full time, and likes to keep a clean and calm home.

Bonus- I will be away from March 4-10 so you'll start with almost week solo! I am also commuting weekly to Rhode Island to teach this semester till mid May, and will stay away for extra days on the alternating weeks when my teen is not here.

This home is a spacious, first floor 3 BR apartment in a 2 story building with one family upstairs.

The neighborhood is full of amenities: citibikes, laundry, delis, groceries, international markets, amazing restaurants and cute cafes and is a 15 minute walk to Prospect Park.
We are close to Park Slope and an easy drive to/from Manhattan due to the Battery Tunnel and it's super easy to get on the BQE from nearby Prospect Expressway. I can get to Chelsea in my car in 20 min when there's no traffic.

About This Lister

Queer home. We are relaxed people who are tidy and like to be at home when we are not out and about at work and school.
Every other week, when I am not parenting, I tend to be out a lot. I work in DUMBO and spend the full work day and sometimes more at my studio there, although here and there I work from home.
I occasionally have dinner parties but other than that the house is pretty quiet.
I request that my housemate is one person-
no couples, and no frequent overnight guests.
The kitchen and bathroom are shared spaces that I like to keep clean so I prefer to live with others who agree with this idea.
