The address is 24, Fifth Avenue (on the corner of 5th Ave & 9th st), Greenwich Village. One block from Washington Square arch and three blocks from Union Square. Fabulous grocery stores around the corner, great bars and restaurants directly beneath you.. you really cannot get a better location.
The building is prewar, with a very decadent gold lobby and high ceilings. It was once the Fifth Avenue Hotel, one of the oldest hotels in the city.
The apartment is located on the 8th floor with four windows facing west, so it receives a lot of natural light, with sunset views of the 6th avenue clock tower.
There is no traffic noise as the unit faces the gardens between 9th and 10th street. It is very quiet. There is a TV with Fios Cable, wifi, a landline phone, heating and AC. There is a gym and laundry service in the building. Laundry cards are provided.
The building has a 24/7 doorman, handyman and security.
The main room has a queen-sized bed, two bed side tables, a chest of drawers and a long desk against the wall for working with four chairs.
The bathroom has a bathtub and shower, there is a kitchen with a window and all amenities (fridge, pots and pans, tableware, cutlery.. etc), a walk-in closet with plenty of shelf and hanging space. There are hard wood floors in the main room, while the kitchen and bathroom have white ceramic tiles.
The rent is $4,300 a month, all utilities included.
$150 cleaning fee upon departure. First month and security deposit required upon singing, 5 days prior to moving in.
Security deposit will be returned no later than 21 days after moving out.
Dogs can be discussed. No couples.
