Fall is here, and it's a great time to add, change, and remove plants in the garden. Things may be overgrown, or didn't flower, or there were gaps at awkward times. Let's fix those issues and make plans for next year! Every garden is different, so I always start with a no-charge consultation to get to know you and the space. After that, maintenance starts at $180 for a basic cleanup and pruning. We might also plant some things now, fertilize, and do pruning or hardscaping, but that depends on which plants and what you're hoping to achieve with the garden.

I am a horticulturist, and I am truly plant obsessed - I work with them all day, read about them after work, and putz in my own garden all weekend. I've trained at BBG and worked for several other gardeners in New York. Now that I work fully for myself, I have the flexibility to make a schedule that fits my clients, build relationships with their gardens, and see plants in a variety of microclimates. I've gained a lot of knowledge and practical experience this way, but as always nature is full of surprises. I consider ecology as having equal importance to aesthetics, and they usually enhance each other.

Background and Expertise

I have 5 years of experience in urban horticulture in New York City. I typically source plants from Long Island and New Jersey, but I also enjoy propagating from seeds and cuttings.
