I am seeking a roommate for my home, where I live in a luxury building 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment in Clinton Hill. My current roommate got laid off unexpectedly and lost his visa and has to move home last minute.

I am looking for someone interested in moving in with me on 12/1/24 until 8/31/25. Rent is $1750 a month (below market rate) and refundable security deposit would be $1750 as well. If you are looking for 1/1/25, feel free to also respond but preference is 12/1/24.

Room Setup: 11' by 11' bedroom with closet and floor to ceiling window doors that get great natural light and opens onto a balcony overlooking a quiet landscaped backyard. Balcony is all yours to do whatever you want with but nicely furnished. Bathroom with rainfall shower head and tub. Living room with furniture and 2nd closet just for you. 3 individual thermostat controlled air conditioning/heating units in both bedrooms and living room. Buzz up digital intercom for food delivery. Open kitchen with good counter space for cooking and appliances/dishwasher.

I have included a couple pics of layouts of the room so you can get an idea of what you want to do with it. Room can come furnished or unfurnished. Outgoing roommate is hoping to sell his stuff to incoming roommate, but we can have it unfurnished as well if that's your preference.

Building Amenities: Big, furnished green space in the back of the building. Rooftop indoor/outdoor lounge area on 5th floor with workspace and tables and chairs - good for hosting friends outside. Sizable gym and laundry room in basement. Parking lot garage in basement (which costs extra and has a wait list) but a fair amount of street parking. Package room that UPS delivers to where deliveries can be secured in basement until pick-up. Game room with pool and ping-pong. Reading room/library with two work spaces. Live-in super for the building who fixes stuff fairly quickly.

Roommate Hopes: Employed and financially stable. Qualities I value in my roommate are kindness, maturity, communication, and cleanliness. It's a nice place and I would value someone who wants to call it home as well.

Conveniently located in a cute, beautiful tree lined Clinton Hill neighborhood - 5 minute walk to Clinton-Washington or Classon G train, 5 minute walk to Clinton-Washington C Train stop, B52 bus a block away. 15 minute walk to Atlantic - Barclays terminal.
