I am a retired NYC public school teacher at my country house in the Hudson Valley. I do come into the city occasionally but do not see myself there much at all (7 days would be alot.) THIS IS A GREAT DEAL WITH ROOMMATE RENT IN a mostly ABSENT ROOMMATE APARTMENT.

REAL TWO BEDROOM WTH CLOSED DOORS: 750 square FEET. The room is 88 square feet. It can be furnished with twin to full bed/fold-out couch. Available is a file cabinet and many built-ins. It has exposed brick on one wall, the other a large mirror. There is a sunny, south light window. It is a 6th floor walkup; large marble stairway. (If you want to bring own furniture I am open.) Big closet and storage corner shelf behind door.

The rent includes high speed internet and wifi. Share cable cost if wanted. Electric split based on use.

When I am there we share the bathroom, kitchen and living room. I am basically in my room when I am there but do like to meditate in the living room in the morning and take goddess baths. I am older, quiet and responsible. Funny, friendly, intellectual and generally keep to myself.

Prefer commitment through August/September 2026 when 2 month notice can be agreed on for another yearly commitment. Long term is doable.

Keep shared space clean (wash dishes etc.) and usable for next person use. We can agree upon cleaning routine that works for all. I keep things in order but am not a neat freak.
