Getaway to the mountains at this renovated historic home on the cusp of the Hudson Valley and Catskills! This clean and bright farmhouse on Munsee Lenape land was built in 1900 and has been updated with the modern comforts including a fully equipped kitchen, two new bathrooms, airy living room, patio and outdoor dining area, firepit, and a porch swing.
We're close to incredible hikes, farm stands, rail trails, cute towns, and are happy to help create a fun itinerary for your stay! Apple picking is on and we're close to many orchards.

The house is available for stays of 2 or more nights, currently booking September and October dates.

The house has 2 bedrooms, with an additional sleeping nook with a twin bed/office space with a desk, and 2 bathrooms that both have showers. There is one bedroom downstairs with a full bed and an ensuite bathroom. The primary bedroom upstairs has a queen mattress and beautiful sweeping views of the one acre yard, woods, and the mountains in the distance. The kitchen contains a dishwasher, gas stove, air fryer, french press, Aero Press and coffee grinder, spices, oil and vinegar. The garden right outside the kitchen has fresh herbs to liven up your meals. The backyard is fenced in with plenty of room to roam or play games.
There is a projector TV for movie nights and lots of analog fun-Solo Stove, cards, and classic games (Scrabble, Boggle, Connect 4, and Jenga) for entertainment.

The house is located in a rural area in Kerhonkson on a country road, with the road in clear view of the house. It is very peaceful here and best suited for a quiet getaway.

Enjoy the nature and get a break from technology (if you want it). For your full upstate getaway, there is no cell phone service. There is strong wifi and calls/texts can be sent via internet-enabled calling on your phone. Plenty of wifi bandwidth to work from home and for video calls- I work from home frequently.

The farmhouse is available for a minimum of 2-night stays at $180/night - if you're interested in other dates, please reach out! Cleaning fee is $130.

About This Lister

I'm an urban planner who works in affordable housing and loves cities as much as nature. I split my time between Brooklyn and the Catskills and am happy to share this magical spot when I'm in the city. The proximity to so many amazing outdoor adventures makes this place special- hiking, climbing, swimming in creeks, walking/biking on the rail trails, visiting farm stands and so much more. I love waking up and watching birds in the yard while having coffee on the patio, and then picking herbs to add to breakfast.
