Welcome to 12A, our 4-bedroom, 1-bath sun-filled railway-style apartment. It has a decent-sized bathroom, a full, separate kitchen with lots of communal spices and tools, and a cozy living/dining space equipped with a TV. We’re on a quiet, beautiful tree-lined street next to a more lively street with lots of bars, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and gyms. There is no laundry in the unit or building, but it is a close walk to several laundromats.
The room is the biggest in the apartment; you could fit a queen bed, dresser, desk, wardrobe, a big chair, you name it! It has south-facing bay windows overlooking the street and sharing a wall with the living room. Perhaps the only caveat to the room is that it doesn’t have a closet, but again, plenty of space for your storage needs. *The full bed and bed frame are for sale and the white ikea storage unit is free if you want it.
No pets, please -- We’re only allowed one pet on the lease. El has a small dog named Spoon (pictured) who’s very well-behaved and hardly leaves their side.

You’d be living with 3 other people, all of which are trans (and who have consecutive birthdays this spring). El (they/them), 28, is a writer, painter, and works in/around the entertainment industry and has lived in the space for 3+ years. Eden (they/them), 28, who’s worked in arts and education and imminently pursuing an MSW has lived here for a little under a year. and Tyler (she/her), 33, is an educator and poet who’s lived in the space now for a few months. The dynamic between us has become rather familial and we’re hoping for a 4th person who is seeking to settle and participate in creating a home. We are a lively bunch who laugh, sing, and chat quite a bit but aside from dinner guests and movie nights we don’t really host big/loud events. Our design/decor styles differ but we blend them to create a chic, comfortable, plant filled apartment and we want your input ! It’s important that we each feel represented in the space.
Two of us are on the lease, one is due to sign, and you would be subletting with the option to sign/re-sign with us in June.
$950 + utilities. There is a $600 security deposit we ask for up front paid to the departing roommate. No fees, checks, or inquiries.
