The apartment is a 5-10 min walk to 2/3 and B/Q lines, right near Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park, and the Central Brooklyn Public Library.
We are a clean, respectful, and kind pair of roommates - our former roommate, Nina, is moving out to live with her partner after living in the apartment for four years, and we're looking to fill her room.
Our apartment is a chill space. We sometimes have board game nights with friends, but otherwise it's relatively quiet. If we're up late, we're usually in our rooms.
Unfortunately, this apartment is not wheelchair accessible.
There is washer/dryer in the building and a laundromat right across the street.
Utilities are around $50 a month per person.
If you're interested, please reach out! We'd love to know your name, pronouns, and a little bit about you.
About us:
Emma, 26 (she/they): I've been in the apartment for almost two years, and it's a great spot. I love walking over to the park to take walks and to go to the farmer's market on Saturday mornings. I work in publishing, and in my spare time I love to engage with community, attend queer events, and read. I work hybrid (3 days in the office/2 days home), I like to craft in the living room sometimes, and I love a rom com.
Marianna, 28 (they/them/theirs): I'm a current 1L at NYU Law, so I'm often out of the house during the week, but when I am home, I'm often cooking/baking (and usually happy to share!). I lived in New Haven, CT for the past six years and just moved to Brooklyn in August to start law school. I like to make pottery, knit, hang out with friends, go for long walks, and read. Always happy to chat or have tea together. I'm pretty clean/organized and am very proactive in communicating with my roommates. I found this apartment on SpareRoom and ended up choosing it because Nina and Emma were both so lovely when we had a Zoom call! Would love to find a new roommate who will be a great fit.
