Hi there, I'm a graduate student subletting my furnished studio apartment in Sunnyside for the summer.

The apartment was renovated within the last year and the appliances are quite new. All the windows are south-facing and get direct sunlight whenever the sun is out. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and tons of counter space. The living area is spacious and the ceilings are high. The apartment will be fully furnished as shown in the photos. The building has an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline at sunset (see photo). The roof is also accessible and can be a nice place to enjoy the sunsets.

It's on the 6th floor and the building has an elevator. The cross streets are 50th St and Skillman Ave. It's 5 minutes to the 52nd St 7 train stop, which gets you to Grand Central in about 20 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and residential and the community is great. There's tons of food options within walking distance -- lots of Filipino and Thai in particular. The massive LIC Hmart is also a 10 min walk away, as is the original (the very first) Hmart, in Woodside. Jackson Heights is also close enough and has all the South Asian, Thai, Latin American, etc. food you could ever wish for.

There's also a Fresh N Save (groceries) and laundromat right across the street (no laundry in building) and a Rite Aid 3 mins away. The rent is $2100 a month and includes everything (utilities and wifi as well). The building is quiet and it's important that the subletter respects that.

I haven't been in the space for too long, so it's sparsely decorated. I'm open to having someone who wants to put up their own decorations/make modifications as they see fit.
