Looking for someone to take over my lease for a large, sunlit room with its own private entrance. You would be signing a new lease, ending August 31, 2025, with the option to renew after that.
The room can be entered from within the apartment or via a separate entrance (with your own key) from the hallway. The apartment itself is located on the first floor on a quiet tree-lined street, with its own private outdoor space. Cross streets are Dean St and New York Ave. There is washer/dryer in the building.
In terms of transit, it is about a 10-minute walk to the Nostrand Ave A/C subway and 5 minutes to the LIRR.
You would be sharing the apartment with three respectful roommates (male/female, 20s). Responsibility for cleaning common areas is shared. Utilities are a flat $85 per month per tenant, which includes Wi-Fi.

If everything goes well and you’re a good fit, you’ll need to submit the following documents: (a) paystubs, (b) proof of rental payments, (c) whatever other documents you think will help you qualify, (d) identification. Guarantors are also an option.
There is no application fee. Security deposit of one month and first month's rent are required for move in. The move in date is February 1.
