We're looking for a meticulous, tech-savvy legal / admin assistant with 5+ years of experience in administrative positions to oversee client contact and scheduling throughout the lifecycle of a client’s case and to assist with other administrative matters.
Job tasks include:
- Managing the firm’s responses to prospective clients, from initial inquiries, to scheduling clients’ first consultations, to opening retained clients’ matters;
- Emails with existing clients on administrative matters (e.g. scheduling, billing);
- Answering phone calls from prospective and existing clients;
- Managing attorneys’ online calendars;
- Billing;
- And more!
Must have strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), Dropbox and ideally with PDF editing. Familiarity with AirTable, Clio and Slack a plus, as is experience working in a law firm environment.
This position is fully remote.
We are a modern, holistic family law firm in NYC and CA with three attorneys and a full-time operations manager.
