The Kent Public Library of Kent, New York seeks an enthusiastic full-time Library
Director II who is committed to the goal of providing excellent library services to our
community. The Director shall have charge of the operation of the library and all its
facilities; supervise the library staff; plan, organize and oversee programing for adults
and children; select and manage materials for the library’s physical and on-line
collections, pursue connections with local community organizations, and help develop
and administer the library’s budget and use of public funds. A Master of Library Science
degree plus five years of professional library experience is required. This is a Putnam
County Civil Service position. Salary range depending on education and experience:
$86,000 - $91,000 plus benefits package. For more information, go to
