This airy, bright, furnished two-bedroom apartment is a great live/work space. It has high ceilings, hardwood floors, beautiful light, lots of house plants, and high-speed Verizon Fios WiFi.

The open living/dining area has four large windows that offer views of the city's skyline, including the Empire State Building. There is a dining table that can expand to seat up to 8 people.

There is a spacious, hardworking kitchen outfitted with every kitchen gadget you might need, including a brand-new Samsung Bespoke Fridge with ice maker and filtered water dispenser (not pictured).

The two equal-sized bedrooms each contain a queen bed. One is a Murphy bed that can be folded up and converted to a desk (that can be used as a normal sitting desk or a standing one), if you prefer to have an office instead of a second bedroom. A full-size washer and dryer as well as a Peloton bike, along with a small workout area, are inside the apartment for your private use.

There is a large bathroom with a shower/bathtub and separate room for the toilet. In addition, there is a Molekule air purifier, Google Home in every room, a large TV, as well as a SONOS sound system.

The building also has a bike room and video intercom.

The apartment is a fifth-floor walk-up (but the sunlight, views, and quiet are worth the effort!). It's in a historically recognized East Village cooperative, formerly home to Allen Ginsberg and other notable artists. On a pretty, quiet, tree-lined block, it is steps from Tompkins Square Park and the East River Park, as well as some of the best restaurants, bars, bakeries, and specialty shops in the city, not to mention the farmers' market in Tompkins Square Park on Sundays.

About This Lister

My husband and I have owned this apartment for seven years and have been East Village residents for more than a decade. We love the neighborhood and this space. We have worked from home for the past few years and have appreciated our apartment even more. We are traveling for work and are looking for someone responsible and respectful to stay in our place.

We will be your primary point of contact. There is also a 24-hour management company.
