Light-filled ground floor bungalow studio / 1 bath in a peaceful walkable neighborhood, with palm-lined streets and evening parrots in the trees. Jefferson park is very centrally located in the city, and the bungalow is just a few blocks walk from the Expo / Crenshaw metro line, which has direct trains to downtown and Culver City / Santa Monica / Leimert Park / Inglewood. Plenty of street parking in the neighborhood, often right in front of the bungalow. Walk to hip local spots like Highly Likely, and Johnny’s Pastrami, or down Degnan to Leimert park to visit Art & Practice and take in the festive vibes on Sundays. 10 minute drive in either direction to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's (both of which are also reachable by train). Very fast AT&T (Fiber) wifi. There's a good laundromat 3 blocks away, and a bodega with lots of basics around the corner. Firm mattress with a quality latex foam topper, and good quality sheets. Closet, plus extra open space to hang clothes. The space is flooded with light throughout the day, while also completely private (all windows have frosted privacy film). The kitchen has all the essentials, whether you just want to make cocktails and coffee, or if you want to cook with all four burners plus the griddle on the Wedgewood gas stove (and the oven is also great, if you like to bake / roast). You are welcome to host dinner parties around the dinette, which seats quite a few people. Please no very loud or late parties. It's not an especially noise-sensitive space, but the neighbors in the bungalow compound are all respectful of one another's space. The dinette is also a good space to work at a laptop. Sound system has plugins for iPhones (lightning connection) as well as USB-C phones, or traditional 1/8 stereo plug. All utilities included (internet, gas, water, electric, trash). Cleaning fee is $150.
