My roommate Kevin and I are looking for a roommate in a 3 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment in Crown Heights. It is a 5 minute walk to the 2,3,4,5 trains, Franklin Avenue stop with plenty of restaurants in the area to still get that Brooklyn vibe during these crazy times. We're about a 10 minute walk from the Brooklyn Museum and a 15 minute walk from Prospect Park.

The rent would be $975/month plus utilities and we are looking for at least one year. I would need first month and a deposit. It is a full living, kitchen and bathroom as well as a backyard.

The room fits a full/queen size bed with plenty of storage space above and in the closet. The bookshelf and everything will be taken off the walls. I've lived in this apartment for 14 years so the room will have a nice fresh coat of paint with all hole patched by October 1st. It has a large window, high ceilings. No washer/dryer in the building, but there is a laundromat a block away.

Unfortunately, this apartment building is only available by stairs, but we are on the first floor.

Our apartment is usually pretty chill and quiet. We keep it pretty clean, we're not partiers and we'd like to keep it that way. Kevin and I met doing improv several years ago and have been rooming together since 2020 so we're always down for a good laugh and a hang.

This is a queer friendly house hold! There is a cat on the premise named Munch. She's usually in my room, but likes to roam around at night. Unfortunately, we cannot allow extra pets. Munch is very territorial.

My name is Kaitlyn (she/her, queer). I work in the arts at the Morgan Library & Museum in Manhattan. On the side, I work a part time job online at home and I'm also currently in the process of creating a webseries. I'm a writer and trying to live on that passion. I'm very chill and usually in my room. I'm always down for a chat or hang though. I have a cat named Munch, who is sheepish and shy and usually sticks by me.

My roommate is Kevin (he/him, straight). He works in a warehouse in Dumbo. He's a little rowdy sometimes, but overall a great guy who loves to make people laugh. He also is usually in his room, but also enjoys a good hang. He does like drink so expect alcohol in the house, but we're not party people. We like chill, quiet environments.

We also both love horror and scary things so we love having movie nights too.
