The room for sublet is available February 1 (month-to-month, but with a 3 month minimum. All utilities included.) The 3 bedroom unit is located on the fourth floor of a a beautiful pre-war building, with an elevator.
The room is fairly large with 9'+ ceilings and will be unfurnished, apart from the AC unit and one large shelf.
The apartment has a large living room with 1 large window and two smaller ones, and is fully furnished. There is a full size kitchen with standard size refrigerator, full pantry and storage, and a full 4 burner range/oven.
The bathroom is pretty large with full size tub/shower, vanity and standard toilet. The building has laundry in the basement, a separate entrance for delivery (and move in), and outdoor bike storage in a private courtyard.
The neighborhood—
We are in the thick of a thriving, popular, beautiful family-oriented and youthful neighborhood located in Clinton Hill, but is really on the intersection of Clinton Hill, Ft Greene, and Prospect heights. The nearest subway is the Clinton Washington stop on the C train, and the G train which is 2 blocks away. The Barclay center/Atlantic terminal is also about a 10 min walk. The area boasts a balance of nice restaurants, grocery stores, and fun bars.
You'll be sharing the apartment with 2 female roommates, both working professionals in our 30s, in creative jobs. On weekdays I like to keep a low key atmosphere, and on the weekends like to go out exploring and being active. We're pretty busy and like our space to feel like a relaxing home, somewhere to recharge in. We're very clean, quiet and considerate, and looking for someone similar, who won't bring the party home.
Also looking for someone without any stuff for the common areas, since the living room and kitchen are already fully stocked and can't accommodate more furniture.
Lastly, ideally I am looking for someone who generally would be outside of the home during most weekdays, since I also work from home part of the week (flexible on which days)
tenant
To move in, first month rent is required (at least on day of move in) and a security deposit to secure the room (equal to one month rent). You’d sign a sublease agreement with me guaranteeing its return, as long as you don't destroy something, leave in the middle of the month, that kind of thing. All utilities are included. I have one very sweet cat, but no other pets please, and no couples. Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and low key. If you can provide a link to a social media handle or linkedin, that would be helpful. Thank you, and please tell me a bit about yourself in your first email (feel free to reach out if you have any questions.) : )
