Hello! Myself and my cat black cat Daisy are looking for a room in Brooklyn! I currently work for the Detroit Tigers doing Data Science and Analytics, but they have allowed me to work remotely from New York full time so I can be closer to family who live out on Long Island. I'm looking for around November so starting this search pretty early, but can move this timeline up if there is a subletting situation. Looking to stay around Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, etc but am open to Greenpoint, Fort Greene, Park Slope, etc. Would prefer long term and hoping to stay around $1400-$1500 for rent.
I tend to keep things quite, not much of a party guy but do enjoy going out and grabbing a beer every once in a while. I will mostly be busy during baseball season but always open to hang and meet new people when I can! My job is WFH but I don't take frequent meetings. I'll also have some travel involved and will also find places outside of the house to work in since I don't need to be on meetings frequently. Other interests include watching movies and other sports (can't wait to be reunited with my Knicks) and cooking.
Daisy is super friendly! I do make it a point to clean out her littler box daily but for the most part she is a sweetheart who loves people, doesn't shed a ton, and will generally stay quite. You will most likely find her perched outside the window.
As far as living habits go I usually clean my spaces about once a week, will cook at home semi-frequently as well. Don't smoke in the house but if that's your thing I don't mind. Would prefer to move in with someone with more progressive politics so no homophobia, racism, sexism, etc. I will be moving with a car so if a trip is required for something for the apartment I'm happy to drive.
he/him, 32 (will be 33 in March) Asian American, social, clean.
Moving back to New York after 2 years in Detroit, MI. Currently working in baseball for the Detroit Tigers but allowed to work remotely (if you've seen the movie Moneyball my job is basically Jonah Hill's character).
Love cooking, movies, other sports outside of baseball, my cat (who I clean up after regularly). Job will be WFH but requires some travel and very infrequent meetings as well so I'll be bouncing around work spaces, coffee shops, etc. through most of the week. Progressive / left leaning politics.
Happy to chat via text, email, Instagram, Zoom, etc.
