We own a lovely two-family home in the Hudson Valley, about 15 minutes from the Hudson River. Our ground level one-bedroom apartment is fully renovated with a modern IKEA kitchen and spa bathroom. It has a laundry room in the adjacent garage and one indoor parking space. The garage has an automatic door opener. All utilities, including super high-speed WIFI is included in the rental fee.

The quiet, private apartment has one bedroom with a queen size bed and a spacious area with a couch, dining area and Smart TV. Tenants have access to our one-acre, wooded backyard. The apartment is within walking distance of miles of beautiful trails in the Blue Mountain Reserve.

We welcome a nonsmoker with no pets who is seeking a quiet place to live and work, yet can be at Grand Central Terminal in less than an hour from two nearby train stations.

I'm an independent film and TV producer working on a global television show about remarkable women in history whose accomplishments have not been recognized. I teach film classes at Brooklyn College and for industry organizations.

My husband is a retired teacher and editor. We live upstairs and respect the tenant's right to a quiet living situation. The tenants have a private entrance through the garage.

We own the home and I'm the primary contact person for potential tenants. Our previous tenant was a physical therapy assistant at the local medical center.
