My roommates (a couple) are moving out and I'm looking for a new one or two for HUGE Live/Work space.

Primary Bed with private ensuite bathroom (360 sq ft) PLUS 300 sq ft of additional, separate work space - available for Feb 15 or March 1 move-in (flexibility for before Feb 15).

Bedroom is on the top floor; first floor there is plenty of space for multiple people to work from home or have a home studio as my current roommates - a couple - currently have. Kitchen, dining room, living room also on first floor.

Apartment is a spacious 1600 sq foot duplex and is gorgeous, sun-filled and quiet. Building is a historic Bed-Stuy brownstone, located on a tree-lined, landmarked block.

Newly renovated, with all new appliances, including a washer/dryer and central AC. High ceilings, large windows, tons of natural light, hardwood floors and beautiful historic features.

Note that all furniture in common space photos will be gone, so it's an opportunity to redo the space!

I am open to a variety of arrangements -- individual, couples, pets, kids, working from home or a home creative studio! Preference for people with creative pursuits. Queer and POC forward.

About the location: Quiet block and area. A close walk to bars, restaurants and coffee shops on Malcolm X Blvd, and around the corner from the lovely neighborhood park, Saratoga Park. Great access to neighboring Bushwick and Ridgewood. The nearest trains are the J train at Halsey St, and the A/C trains at Ralph Ave.

I am in my late 30s (she/her), POC, a native New Yorker. I work a 9-5 nonprofit job in Manhattan Mon-Thurs, and wfh Friday. I am sociable, easy-going, POC and queer forward, environmentally conscious. I have a busy schedule and really appreciate a calm home environment. In my free time, I like to work on my own projects (painting, sewing), go out, see art/music/film, be social, and occasionally have friends over. I am not home that much but I like living with other people.
