The place is magical and spacious (60 square m) 1st floor Paris (second story US), with a tiny elevator, very close to the jardin des plantes and the grande mosquee, it’s about 10 minutes walk through the garden to the Seine, 20 minute walk to jardin Luxembourg. It’s a one bedroom, furnished to be something between a loft and studio vibe (minimalist, open space, white and gold, simple) with a lot of incredible Parisian detailing. There’s a double sejour (expansive living room of two rooms opened up to each other which can close off into two smaller rooms if it serves you) and a separate bedroom overlooking the courtyard in the back, very tranquil, and huge storage space/closet behind. It’s quiet in a remarkably relaxed neighborhood, but very central. Fairly basic kitchen and bathroom--shower, washing machine-- lots of books and art around. It's a quiet building, no parties.
I’m a curator and writer, mid thirties, former/sometimes New Yorker, with a special flat in Paris’ 5th arrondissement. I’m traveling during December and want to sublet my special haven/home out while I’m away.
