Anatolico is excited to welcome a part-time (2.5 days per week) Sales Assistant to our first permanent store on 5th Avenue in Brooklyn! We specialize in beautifully designed Turkish towels, robes, and caftans, all handcrafted in our founder’s hometown in Turkey. This is a special opportunity to work closely with me, Derya, the owner and designer, as part of a very small, dedicated team. Since we’re a tight-knit business, this role is truly important to us, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
What We’re Looking For:
Engaging Communicator: Someone who enjoys sharing our brand's unique story and making customers feel at home.
Sales Enthusiast: A natural at understanding customer needs and guiding them to find products they’ll love.
Independent & Reliable: Capable of managing the store solo, keeping things organized, and handling inventory.
Weekend Availability: Able to work at least one weekend day, as these are our busiest times.
Store Care & Presentation: Keeping the store beautifully organized, clean, and welcoming—including light dusting and tidying—is an essential part of the role.
Social Media Savvy: If you can capture and share beautiful moments from our store, that’s a big plus!
Textile Lover: An appreciation for textiles, home goods, or fashion is wonderful—bonus if you have a background in textile design.
Job Details:
Hours: 2.5 days (14-20 hours) per week (part-time), including at least one weekend day.
Pay: $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
Location: Anatolico, 347 5th Avenue, Brooklyn.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect! Please reach out with a bit about yourself and why you’d be a great fit for our team.
Who We Are:
Anatolico started as a home and lifestyle brand in 2017 with a deep love for artisan craftsmanship of the Mediterranean heritage. Our products are designed by me, Derya, and are loomed, tailored, and handcrafted in Turkey by skilled artisans, many of whom I’ve worked with for years. We are committed to ethical, fair, and meaningful work relationships—from our artisans to our employees, we value fairness, understanding, and a family-like environment in everything we do.
Our first permanent store on 5th Avenue in Brooklyn is an extension of this vision: a welcoming space where customers can not only shop but also connect with the stories, textures, and heritage behind each piece.
