Hi! We are looking for a subletter to rent our apartment while we are away for a few weeks this winter :)
In the middle of Brooklyn's greatest neighborhoods of Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, and Park Slope, our apartment makes for a wonderful short term stay. Large windows make for beautiful lighting and wonderful views of the NYC skyline. We have a great kitchen, with a dishwasher and all the appliances you could need, including an espresso machine. There is an elevator, a washer/dryer in unit, central heating, and it is a comfortable space to work from.
The apartment is located near Barclay's Center and is less than a 5 minute walk to prime Fort Greene and BAM, Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill and Park Slope. There are endless cafes, restaurants and bars nearby and both Fort Greene Park and Propsect Park are walkable.
This is perfect for both someone who likes to stay in and work from home with all the modern comforts, or someone who wants a great location to go out and enjoy culture, restaurants, bars, and get into Manhattan quickly.
About This Lister
We are a couple with a young child working in the arts and environmental fields. We’re in our 30s, very clean, responsible, and organized. We have rented out prior apartments to guests on many occassions, so we know what makes for a good sublet.
We are the tenants of this apartment, and would love to have someone who would treat our place with the same care as they would treat their own while we are out. We are traveling to see family abroad and are just looking to cover our apartment expenses.

Rental requirements
- Please share some information about yourself; your regular living situation, what you do, why you're interested in the apartment, etc.
- Dates have some flexiblity but can't come before Dec 12 or stay after Jan 8.
- The price includes utilities and a professional cleaning prior to and after your stay.
- This is our home where we live with our child so we want someone who will respect the space.
- We would ask subletters to have a limited number of guests and no parties.
- No smoking.
- We will prioritize individual subletters.
- We will ask to have a virtual meeting/interview with 2 - 3 of the applicants that reach out.
- Full payment and a security deposit of $500 will be requested, but we are open to discuss further.
- We will ask the subletter to sign a subletter agreement that will protect both you and us.
