Two, unfurnished rooms are available together in Bushwick for $1700. One 8' x 11' room with a closet, and one 11' x 17' room, both together for $1700. Also, they are not being offered individually so please do not ask.
The rooms both receive great natural light, and the larger room contains a medium size bay window: perfect for plants. The larger room makes an ideal studio space for its being so spacious. The ceiling height in both is roughly 12.' The two rooms share a doorway. For those interested in a live/work this is pretty ideal.
You would be sharing the rest of the apartment (sunny kitchen, medium-sized living space, and a bathroom) with one other roommate: myself. There are plenty of little closets and extra storage spaces which are one of my personal favorite features of this apartment, in addition to the natural light. The apartment is within a quick walk to the Myrtle Wyckoff station (on the L and M lines), though it is also far enough that it isn't an aural burden. A lot of families reside here in the neighborhood, so there is a real domestic, and tranquil air to the street by comparison with others here in Bushwick. And, of course, there are ample delis, bodegas, restaurants, several grocery stores, and cafes nearby. Utilities and internet generally run about $80+ per month.

I'm in my 40's and am interested in keeping a clean, quiet, cozy apartment as a functional abode. I work away from home, and I enjoy being evenings in, cooking, or working on personal projects. I consider myself to be considerate and clean, and I would like to find someone of a similar disposition. I rarely have guests over though I don't mind if you have an occasional dinner guest or visitor. I like living here quite a bit and am interested in finding someone who is similarly attracted to the place. Also, since the space is residential and lacks the proper ventilation and waste disposal functions for certain materials; I have to limit use of the studio space to work which does not involve loudness, oil paint, dry pigments, or any substance which generates fumes, dust, or excessive mess. My previous roommates have been writers, illustrators, or musicians (working with laptop, headphones, or water-based mediums).
