About this Service

I am offering piano lessons to all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in working with artists & creatives who want to incorporate piano into their artistic practices & their lives. The ultimate goal is to help people find joy through this practice.
My lessons are deeply tailored to the individual and we work together to find lesson plans that really resonate.

About this Lister

I am a composer, pianist & teacher.

I am originally from Cambridge Massachusetts but I have been living and working in New York for the past 20 years. I am currently teaching from my studio in Ditmas and on zoom and really enjoying the process.

The process of creativity inspires me deeply -- the moment of creation --- whether it's with a student or with my own work still is one of my favorite things in life.

Even though I have been playing music all my life I am still very curious and excited about it -- I love to share that with my students!

Background and Expertise

I have taught privately and in institutions for the past 20 years.

I have also performed all over the word, crafted scores for numerous award-winning films featured on Netflix, HBO and New York Times & been artist in residence with Performance Space New York, BAM, American Dance Institute, National Sawdust Summer Lab. Recently I was a fellow with New Amsterdam Records Composers Lab.
