HI! My name is Arafat, and I’m looking for someone to take over a lease in this quiet two bedroom, pre-war apartment in Kensington, Brooklyn.

The room itself is very spacious, with hardwood floors and pre-war plaster walls. The prior tenant easily fit a full-size bed, office desk, dresser, as well as a hanging coat rack.

Additionally, there is also roof-access, as well as a shared downstairs courtyard space.

Closest trains are the F line on 18th Avenue and the Q/B line on Newkirk Plaza. There are many small grocery stores, a C-town, and multiple cafes within walking distance, but not in the immediate vicinity. Adjacent neighborhoods are Flatbush and Windsor Terrace.

My ideal roommate is someone reasonably tidy/clean, and considerate of noise. I have no issues with having friends/guests over at all, just be mindful that I’m quite busy with work and classes :)

Rent is a staggering $1100 not including wifi and utilities, which generally run under $100 in the summer. Heat is included, so your only utility in the winter would be electric, and $25 for wifi. The lease will end in June 2025, with the option of re-signing.
