I’m looking for someone to rent my room from April 5th - May 31st OR April 5th – July 31, 2025. This can be a lease takeover or sublease with option to extend.
The apartment is a 2bed/1bath apartment in Crown Heights! Cross-streets are: Rogers Ave & St. John’s Place. Commute is a 7 min walk to the 2,3,4,5. It’s a 15 minute walk to Brooklyn Museum, and 25 minutes to Prospect Park.
The room is $1630, unfurnished, and it’s 8 x 11 with a 3 x 6 x 3 closet (around 120 sq feet total). It's a pretty decent size - I fit a full size bed, desk, dresser, and bookshelf in the room. The room doesn't get amazing sunlight but the rest of the apartment does :-)
The apartment is renovated, has updated appliances, hardwood floors, and original brick walls. It’s up one flight of stairs. There’s a bathtub, a dishwasher, virtual doorman, a roof deck, laundry, and a bike room in the basement.
My roommate’s name is Meadow (she/her), she’s 28, and works at a major NYC hospital 9-5 in person. She's very clean and considerate. We follow a 24 hour dish rule and we have a chore chart that we follow.
Total amount to move in is: Security ($1630) + First Month’s Rent ($1630) = $3,260
No utilities are included so it’s usually around $100-150 per person in the summer.
